Regular readers of this blog will remember that my son is a member of his school's robotics team where high schools complete as part of the First Robotics Competition in regional contests to see who can build the best robot to do a certain set of skills.
The NY regional was held two weeks ago at the Javits Center, and my son's team placed second, which was pretty awesome.
This weekend was the Connecticut regionals in Hartford and they can in FIRST!! And I was there! They are going onto Atlanta for the national competition where 300 teams will compete.
It is truly amazing to see how this nerdy engineering set of skills has been reconditioned into an incredible competitive sport.
So that's what I did this weekend.
